About the Burrow Café

Creating a place for everyone!

The Burrow Café was established by Kia Cole and Hamish Goff in 2019 in Orange, NSW. Read on for more about the family business which has grown and now employs a collection of local people who share a passion for great food and customer service.

We’re all about fresh food… friendly staff… & great coffee!

Kia is the queen of the café managing the front of house whilst Hamish is the king of the kitchen and chef. Kia believes the family culture of the business shines through in the service and the food.

The city of Orange is well known for the quality produce grown in the area and the outstanding local food and wine scene. The idea of the café was to cater to everyone and make sure there was a place where the entire family could eat and enjoy themselves.

Kia and Hamish handpick their staff as closely as they handpick their fresh produce ensuring a friendly and welcoming team greets every customer.

The philosophy around maintaining a fresh wholesome menu at The Burrow is centred around supporting local, buying quality and creating memorable food experiences for everyone!

The building block of a great café – our local Academy Coffee Roasters

All our coffee is sourced from a local barista – Academy Coffee Roasters. Our Chef, Hamish, also participates in the roasting process every couple of weeks at Academy Coffee. Sourcing well is the Academy Coffee Roasters’ philosophy. They source beans as directly from their producers as possible, making regular ventures to countries of origin, and participating in social programs to help change lives and allowing them to bring specialty coffee to Central West NSW.
